Nicki is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a particular interest in the upper limb.  Prior to qualification as a Physiotherapist in 2005, Nicki worked as an Occupational Therapist in hand therapy, qualifying in 1997.  She now combines both professions to provide a specialist service for upper limb injuries and rehab. She is a keen amateur harpist and has an interest in treating performance artists, especially musicians.

Nicki is a Registered Practitioner and Assessing Clinician with the British Association of Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM), is a member of the British Association of Hand Therapists and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Nicki also works for the NHS as a Physiotherapist with Sussex Community NHS Trust.  She is currently working to develop clinical research pathways for the National Institute of Health Research. 

​

Nicki now offers bespoke splinting as part of her treatment options.  These types of splints can be used for pain management, optimising range of movement or function and as part of a post-operative protocol.
